Main Hall

The light, airy main hall at Wymondham Central Hall has been used for local performances and productions for almost 60 years. Boasting a good-sized stage, it’s perfect for performances, pantomimes and rehearsals, fitness and dance classes, group meetings and events, parties and social gatherings for the local community. Plus the hall can cater to both dancing and dining for the following capacity: 

  • 144 for dining functions  
  • 200 for theatre style seating

For productions, the stage can be included in the hire and there’s also access to a fully equipped kitchen for serving teas/coffees and pre-prepared food available as well.   

The main kitchen includes an electric triple oven with 5 hob rings, a small under-worktop fridge, 2 hot water urns, 2 domestic kettles, cutlery and crockery (60 mugs, 30 large plates & 30 small plates).

There is also a bar area next to the main kitchen which is available to hirers should you want to serve alcoholic drinks at your event. If you do use it then you as the hirer will be responsible for obtaining a temporary events license (alcohol license) from South Norfolk Council for the event, or you can bring in another bar company to run it on your behalf.

If you’re looking to organise a larger event, you may wish to bring or hire your own crockery and cutlery, plus hire any additional lighting you require to ensure your event suits your needs.

HALL HIRE CHARGES 

The main hall hire charge is £20.00 per hour inc VAT

Saturday evening hire of the hall is £250.00 inc VAT from  6pm-12.00am midnight.
